From 6th April the town of Radda in Chianti has set the Tourist Tax by resolution no. 8 of 19 March 2012.

The amount of tax for our hotel is euros 2,50 per person per night.
This City Tax has to be paid only for the first 4 nights.
Our rates do not include City Tax!!

EXEMPTIONS:
a) registered residents of the Municipality of Gaiole in Chianti;
b) minors under fourteen years of age;
c) patients (including out-patients) and caregivers (one per patient) attending a patient recuperating in health facilities on municipal land;
d) persons housed in facilities under resolution by public authorities in emergency situations as a consequence of disaster, force majeure or humanitarian aid;
e) one guide and a bus driver for every group of 20 people;
f) handicapped persons who are not self sufficient and a companion;
g) employees of the facilities (hotels and similar)
h) persons who stay for long periods for work reasons provided they have a certification signed by their employer who has an agreement with such facility that confirms the reason for their stay.
